Helen E. Johnson

Helen E. Johnson of Warren passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at 11:08 a.m. in Trumbull Regional Medical Center. She was 88 years old.

Helen was born on July 27, 1931 in Cleveland, OH, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Helen Princess Kakora.

On May 2, 1957, Helen married Burhl Johnson. Together they enjoyed 58 years of marriage. Burhl preceded her in death on March 22, 2015.

Helen was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. She loved her 7 children, 21 grandchildren, and 41 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Helen was a cat lover and a huge fan of the Cleveland Indians. In her spare time, she enjoyed working on puzzles, gardening, shopping, she cherished her time fishing with her son-in-law Jeff Henico, and spending time with her family playing games.

Memories of Helen will be carries on by her 2 sons David (Jan) Johnson of Barberton and Daniel Johnson of Warren; 3 daughters, Helen (Ed) Johnson of Bazetta, Charlene (Jeff) Henico of Warren and Becky Wegener of Warren; as well as her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Helen was preceded in death by 2 daughters, Pearl Durst and Opal Johnson-Maggio; her son-in-law Robert Wegener; and her 10 siblings.

Calling Hours will be on Friday, July 17, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to service on Saturday, in the Wm Nicholas Funeral Home & Cremation Services 614 Warren Ave. Niles, OH 44446.

A funeral service will take place in the funeral home on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will be at Pineview Memorial Park.
