Joanne "Josie" Y. Feigert

Joanne Y. “Josie” Feigert of Niles passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at 6:59 a.m. in her residence. She was 80.

Joanne was born in Bellaire, OH on March 24, 1939, the daughter of the late John and Martha Timberlake Elliott.

Josie as she was affectionately known was a loving homemaker. She was a member of the Niles Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2074, Fraternal Order of Police, and Loyal Order of the Moose in Florida. The most important part of Josie’s life was her grandchildren and great grandchildren, she cherished all the fond memories she made with them over the years. She held two very important roles to her family and friends, Josie was the life of the party and the glue that held her family together.

Her husband, Charles Irwin Feigert, whom she married June 11, 1970, passed away on August 4, 2010;

She is survived by 2 daughters, Kim Littleton of Zephyrhills, FL and Debra (Lawrence) Cella of Niles; a brother, John Elliott of Niles; 5 grandchildren, Amanda Dorchock, Joanne Palmer, Jaimie Tominey, Danielle (Jason) Book, and Jesse Walker; 9 great grandchildren, Cameron, Alexis, Caden, Bryson, Riley, Mariah, Dominick, Isabella, and Skylar. She is also survived by a niece Jennifer and a nephew Johnny.

In addition to her parents and husband, Joanne was preceded in death by 5 siblings, Beverly, Mary Katherine, Martha, Deborah, and Walter.
