John Anthony Marrero of Warren, formerly of Arlington, TX, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021, at 2:22 a.m. in Trumbull Regional Medical Center. He was 25 years old.

John was born on November 6, 1995, in Brooklyn, NY, the son of Jose Antonio Marrero Jr. and Arreliz Torres.

He attended Fort Hamilton High School in Brooklyn, NY and was of Catholic Faith.

John was an amazing cook and loved to eat. He loved being around people and making them laugh and joining in with his own infectious laugh. He was a talented artist, spending his time drawing or making music. He was greatly loved by his family and will be forever loved and missed.

He is survived by his mother, Arreliz and her husband Andrew Kendall of Arlington, TX, his father, Jose Antonio Marrero Jr.; his daughter Genesis as well as 2 other daughters; 6 siblings, Tatyana, Giovanni, Samantha, Jose III, Michael Bryan, Shawn, and Gionmarco; maternal grandmother, Marta Torres; great grandmother, Dolores; 5 aunts, Sandra, Claribel, Inez, Maritza, and Milagros; 4 uncles, Ignacio, Richard, Moses, and John; and his many cousins including, Xena, Andrew, Alyson, and Aneesa.

John is preceded in death by his grandparents.

I remember all the fun times we had when you came to live with me. I wish I would’ve stopped you from leaving and also wish that you would’ve understood why I was so stern with you. Now you’re gone. My first born, my first son and now you’re no longer with us. Love you always son, till we meet again.
