John "Jack" McMaster

John “Jack” McMaster of Niles passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 in Mercy Health - St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital. He was 83.

Mr. McMaster was born on March 11, 1936 in Youngstown, OH the son of Charles and Mildred McMaster.

He was a 1954 graduate of Girard High School. Following high school John enlisted in the United States Navy.

John retired from the maintenance department of General Motors, Lordstown in 1995.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia McMaster, whom he married September 26, 1959; 3 sons Scott (Jennifer) McMaster of San Jose, CA, Tod McMaster of McDonald, OH, and Shon (Beth) McMaster of Mayock, NC; a brother, Tom (Sue) McMaster of Niles; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.at the Village Banquet Center 1057 Illinois Ave., McDonald, OH 44437. Friends and acquaintances of Jack are invited to join his family during this time to celebrate his life.
