Judith Ann Posey

Judith Ann Posey of Niles passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 11:55 a.m. in Continuing Healthcare at the Ridge. She was 79.

Judith was born on November 22, 1940 in Parma, the daughter of the late Delbert and Jeanette VanFleet Beach.

Following her graduation from Berea High School, Judith furthered her education at Kent State University where she obtained a bachelor’s degree of arts.

Mrs. Posey held various jobs throughout her life. She was a tour guide for the Steel Museum in Youngstown, an enumerator at the Private Industries Council, a recruiter for ATES Technical Institute, and a realtor for Century 21.

She was of Methodist faith. Judith had a passion for animals of all kinds. She enjoyed going for walks and in her spare time enjoying a good science fiction book or watching a movie.

Her husband, Ronald Posey, whom she married June 8, 1963, passed away on June 1, 2007.

She is survived by a son, Mike (Jeanne) Posey of Parma, OH; a daughter Suzanne (Tom Jr.) Nadasky of Newton Falls, OH; a cousin, Nancy (Glenn) Fasnacht of Twinsburg, OH.

Judith was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Calling Hours will be on Sunday, October 4, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Wm Nicholas Funeral & Cremation Services 614 Warren Ave. Niles, OH 44446. At the request of the family, guests are asked to please wear a mask.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. following the calling hours.

Inurnment will take place in Niles City Cemetery.
