Letitia "Tina" Pinson

Letitia “Tina” Pinson of Austintown passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 6:04 p.m. in her residence. She was 81 years old.

Tina was born on August 4, 1939 in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Pete and Mary Lucas Barb.

She was a 1957 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School. Mrs. Pinson was a courtroom stenographer in Cleveland when she met her loving husband, Charles A. Pinson. They were married on April 23, 1969 and from that point forward, Tina was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker.

Mrs. Pinson was a member of Holy Trinity Romanian Orthodox Church in Youngstown. Earlier in life, Tina and Charles would grow a beautiful garden and can their harvest every fall. Tina was an amazing baker, her pizzelles, pound cake, and kolachi will be remembered by all those fortunate enough to have tried them. Most importantly she was a loving and caring person that always put others first. Her family meant the world to her.

She is survived by 2 sons, Michael A. (Claire Anne) Pinson of Silver Spring, MD and Charles F. Pinson and his companion Eden Davenport of Youngstown; a sister, Liz (Jim) Terry of Ellsworth, OH; 7 grandchildren, Kira Smith, Troy Smith, Charles Perry, Isaiah Perry, Miracle Pinson, Michaela Pinson, and Mia Pinson; and a great granddaughter.

In addition to her parents, Tina was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Pinson who passed away on September 17, 2017; a daughter, Lisa Pinson; a brother, Raymond J. Barb.
