Matthew A. "Senior" Cooper, Sr.

Matthew A. “Senior” Cooper, Sr. of Warren entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 17, 2020 at 3:44 a.m. in his residence. He was 61.

Matthew was born on March 2, 1959 in Sarver, PA, the son of the late Oscar and Edna Welch Cooper.

He was an automotive mechanic and was employed at Sassen Bach Dodge for many years.

Matt was married on June 28, 1986 to the love of his life, Sandy Poling and together they spent 34 beautiful years together.

Senior loved spending his free time playing X-Box or watching wrestling. His greatest love was his family, especially his granddaughter.

Matt is survived by wife, Sandy Cooper, of Warren; his son Matthew (Ashley) Cooper Jr. of Dayton; and his granddaughter, Zoey Cooper.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Charles, Edna, and Jacob.

Calling hours will take place on Saturday, August 22, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the Wm Nicholas Funeral Home 614 Warren Ave. Niles, OH 44446.

A service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
