Melissa Sue Moore

Melissa Sue Moore of Niles passed away following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. in Trumbull Memorial Hospital. She was 44.

Melissa was born on May 1, 1975 in Warren, the daughter of Daniel and Sherri Cornwell Moore.

She was a 1993 graduate of Niles McKinley High School. Ms. Moore was employed as an optician for Target Optical Department for many years.

Through her son, Melissa became passionate about autism, monetarily donating and educating herself on the research surrounding autism. She was an amazing artist and put her talents to use through decorating cakes. Melissa loved to read; she had a versatile collection of books she found interest in.

She is survived by her mother, Sherri (Randy) Cummings of Warren; her father, Daniel (Sally Walker) of Warren; 2 sons, Andrew Belknap and Marshall Moore both of Niles; 3 sisters, Malinda Clay, Crystal Moore, and Rhonda Cummings all of Warren.

Ms. Moore was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Moore; maternal and paternal grandparents.
