Sandra Mae Clay

Sandra Mae Clay of Fowler passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at 5:46 p.m. in Ohio Living at Lake Vista. She was 73 years old.

Sandra was born in Warren, OH on March 7, 1948, the daughter of the late John and Ruby Wells McElhaney.

She was a graduate of Niles McKinley High School.

Ms. Clay retired from Niles City School System where she was in the Custodial Department for many years.

Sandra will always be remembered as a person that brought a smile to your face and was always in good spirits. She was full of life and cherished all the experience she had with family and friends. Most importantly she was a loving mother.

She is survived by 3 children: Trina (Gary) Mechling of Warren, George (Alicen) Telshaw of Fowler, and Corey (Angela) Telshaw of Boardman; a brother, John McElhaney of Niles; a sister, Marsha Raschilla of FL; 13 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by a son Jared Clay.
