Timothy C. Miller

Timothy C. Miller, AKA “SPANKY” of Galloway, OH formerly of Niles passed away following a brief courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at 10:25 p.m. He was 62 years old.

Tim was born in Wheeling, WV on April 28, 1959, the son of Robert E. "Murph" and Marianne E. McCabe Miller.

He was a 1978 graduate of Niles McKinley High School. Following high school, he attended West Liberty University.

Mr. Miller owned and operated Creative Investments where he was a project relocation engineer.

Spanky as he was affectionately known by his friends and family was of Catholic Faith. He loved being outdoors, from spending time at his favorite hunting spot too fishing in the local fishing whole. Tim had an interest in farming and raising animals. His true passion was being an off-road enthusiast. From riding 4 wheelers to off-road vehicles in the hills of Tennessee to the deserts out west. Tim was loved by all those that knew him, and he would give the shirt off his back to help those in need.

He is survived by his father, Robert E. “Murph” Miller of Niles; a sister, Aimee (Albert) Cantola of Niles; 2 brothers, Alan (Nancy) Miller of Canfield and Murphy (Lora) Miller of Port Charlotte, FL.; Tim is also survived by a close friend Michelle Rios of Garrettsville, OH; numerous nieces and nephews; 2 dogs, Alex, and Sophie.

Tim was preceded in death by his mother.

Calling hours will be on Sunday, October 3, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Wm Nicholas Funeral Home & Cremation Services 614 Warren Ave. Niles, OH 44446. The family requests that masks be worn during calling hours.

A Mass of Christian burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 4, 2021, in St. Stephens Church 129 West Park Ave. Niles, OH 44446. There will be calling hours from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home prior to mass.

Internment will take place in Niles City Cemetery.
