Vincent Edward Goldsmith

Vincent Edward Goldsmith of Niles passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2019 in his residence, after a long battle with addiction. He was 46.

Vincent was born on April 29, 1973 in Warren, the son of Joanne Hanshaw Goldsmith.

He attended Niles McKinley High School. Mr. Goldsmith was employed at Marchese’s Concrete Couture as a concrete layer.

Vincent loved the outdoors, especially spending time fishing and camping. He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and enjoyed cooking. Mr. Goldsmith was a passionate fan of Star Wars and could quote the entire series. Most importantly he loved spending time with his family and friends.

Mr. Goldsmith is survived by his mother, Joanne (Randall) Marsh of Niles; his step father who helped raise him Robert Weimer of Youngstown; 3 daughters, Cassandra (Christopher) Morris of Niles, Samantha (Tom) Souders of Scott Twp, PA and Haley Goldsmith of Niles; 3 brothers, Jake (Patty) Goldsmith of Lakeland, FL, Greg Weimer of Youngstown, Doug Weimer of Austintown; a grandson Hayden Souders; his former wife and companion that remained close in Vincent’s life, Dawn Goldsmith and Kimberly McClimans; He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Vincent was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Earsel and Dorothy Hanshaw.
