Virgil Allen Puckett

Virgil Allen Puckett of Warren passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, September 26, 2021, after a weeklong battle from hundreds of bee stings. Virgil was surrounded by loved ones, his wife Robynn and nephew Marty (Jill) Puckett.

Virgil was born on August 30, 1958, in Warren, the son of the late Pearl and Eileen Leatherberry Puckett.

He was a graduate of Niles McKinley High School and became an accomplished carpenter and superintendent through the Carpenters & Joiners Union Local #171.

Mr. Puckett had a loving relationship with his great nephews Ty and Kyle and will be sadly missed by them.

He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying everything nature had to offer through hunting, fishing and more with his nephew and “buddies”. Virgil had won numerous awards for his hunting and fishing. He absolutely loved those activities and sharing the many stories about his adventures.

A private celebration of life was held at an earlier date. Virgil was laid to rest at Kerr Cemetery in Mineral Ridge.
